Daystar History
Daystar has always met our customers needs by designing and producing the highest possible quality parts. Since 2000, Daystar has been certified ISO 9001. This demanding certification, recognized worldwide, ensures our customers that the entire process, from design to shipment, is independently verified and documented to meet or exceed our customers expectations.
Daystar is a recognized specialist in manufacturing cast polyurethane elastomeric and microcellular foam parts for the automotive industry. We have developed several families of proprietary polymer formulations that give us the ability to match material properties to the specific application at hand.
Daystar Polyurethane Kits
Daystar Products launched its polyurethane kit business in 1994 with the introduction of a complete line of polyurethane suspension and drive train components for the light truck and SUV market. In 1995 we introduced the Daystar Super Kit, the first "all in one" suspension and frame replacement bushing kit. In 1996 we introduced the first polyurethane suspension lift for Jeep TJ Wrangler and XJ Cherokee. In 1997 came the SUPER GREASEABLE SHACKLE, the ultimate lift shackle with 3/8" fully welded side plates and greasable polyurethane bolts and bushings.
Daystar continues to be the leader in the Lift & Leveling kit market with over 300 applications currently available and more being added every day. We manufacture kits for Chevy, Ford, Dodge, Jeep, Toyota, Nissan, Honda, and Kia 2WD and 4WD trucks and SUVs.

Injection Molding
Daystar produces millions of plastic injection molded parts every year on micro processor controlled Van Dorn molding machines ranging in size from 85 to 400 tons. We are extremely experienced in running elastomeric compounds such as flexible PVCs, thermoplastic polyurethanes, and TPRs. We also run large quantities of other thermoplastic resins.
Engineering & Quality
Daystar utilizes current CAD/CAE/CAM (computer-aided design, engineering, and manufacturing) technology and techniques to remain state-of-the-art. Computer design capability includes 2D and 3D modeling, surface and solid modeling, finite element analysis, virtual prototyping, and more.
Once the tooling is designed, it is fabricated in house and interfaced with advanced CNC machining capability.
Daystars boot design software was developed exclusively by Daystar for the purpose of designing and predicting performance parameters of boot/bellows. This enables Daystar to provide engineering support to its customers in rapid design of boots/bellows. This technology has been extended to polyurethane part and tool design. Daystar can provide a "computer generated photograph" of a part to its customers such that early press releases can be generated prior to the products actual construction and fabrication.
Quality control test facility includes a fully equipped laboratory to perform tests to ASTM (American Society for Testing Materials) standards of rebound, hardness, elongation, tensile, and tear. Daystar subscribes to ASTM (American Society for Testing Materials) protocols for all of its testing and standards. All of Daystars processes also conform to rigorous ISO9001 quality control standards.
